This demo for Zem! X was released on November 16, 1999. Zem! X was eventually released in February of 2002. Looking at it now, it's clear that the playable preview was very rushed and arguably thoughtless.

Along with the ZZT file (ZEMXPREV.ZZT) and original text file, I'm including an illustrated preview webpage (ZEMXPREV.HTM with accompanying gifs) that was part of my website (John Moore's Productions, fka Newt's Pond) from 1999 to 2001. A sketch (ben.jpg) illustrating the concept of the game from elsewhere on the site is also included.

Finally, I'm also including in this archive a Zem! X poster (zemxposterweb.jpg) that I released to promote the game in 2002.
